Description and Synopsis.
A profound philosophical drama set in a hidden Zone within the landscapes of Sydney — atmospheric, unsparing, deeply inspired by Tarkovsky's Stalker, and anchored in the living tradition of Christian faith.
Four strangers follow an enigmatic guide into a Zone where not everyone who enters will return. Somewhere within it, an adversary already waits — someone the Zone itself has refused to release.
Each traveller carries their own impossible weight: a Ukrainian mother whose son died defending an ancient Christian monastery in Syria; a wealthy man haunted by his brother's blood; an activist who has not yet asked himself the hardest question about his missing friend; and a young woman who spent three years travelling the world, and embraced veganism, who now faces a cancer diagnosis she refuses to surrender to. Between her and the activist, something unexpected ignites: a love neither of them planned for.
Their guide remains an enigma — her prices are high, her reasons are her own, and when asked whether all her clients have returned, she does not answer.
What follows is nearly three hours of unrelenting dramatic tension — a journey through forests, industrial wastelands, underwater passages, and sun-bleached hills that never pauses for breath. A collision of ideologies so raw it draws blood: Ukraine and seven hundred years of Russian erasure; Israel, Palestine, and the origins of modern terror; Christianity and radical Islam; the roots of Australian civilisation and the activists who condemn them. These characters say aloud what most films dare not whisper — and the Zone is listening.
At the centre: a faith that refuses to be theoretical. More than one traveller will find God before this journey ends — some quietly, some on the road to Damascus.

The Director
The Director of this FIlm, is award winning Filmmaker Mykyta Phoenix.
As of the time of this Film's production, Mykyta is 16 years old.
Mykyta grew up as a Worldschooler in a Ukrainian-Australian household and was the youngest person at his Institute (AIE) during his time there, being accepted at 15.
This Film is his Full-Feature Drama Debut.
What sets this film apart from others.
Though the Australian film landscape may be rich and diverse, it lacks movies in the Christian Mystery Genre, and it especially lacks Full-Feature movies in a Christian Mystery Genre.
Spanning across more than a dozen Film Sets, 10 Outstanding Actors and a bottomless desire for more, this is an extremely ambitious Film.
What makes this film even more special is that it was filmed by a crew of 5, with 2 crew members also acting, on a practically non-existent budget, and directed by a 16-year-old, who just got out of Film School.
